An extra life is optional. If an ad is unavailable, you can still start a new run.

Privacy policy

This policy describes Your Ghost Is the Enemy (also called Ghost Enemy), Android package com.wavesapps.ghostenemy, and this support website. It also covers the companion debug test app with the package suffix .test. The developer operates this support site under the Wavesappscreative account and can be contacted at drivfiappscreative@gmail.com. The app is intended for teens and adults aged 13 and older.

Game information on your device

The game stores your best score and selected age group on your device. The age choices are “Under 18,” “18 or older,” and “Prefer not to say”; the app does not ask for your date of birth. The game does not upload your stored score or age selection to a developer-operated server. Movement recordings used to create replay ghosts are held during a run and are not uploaded to a developer-operated server. No player account, public profile, chat, or cloud leaderboard is included in this version.

The app does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or precise location. The advertising SDK processes additional information described below.

Advertising and consent

The app includes Google AdMob for interstitial ads between runs and optional rewarded ads for an extra life or a doubled score. The current version 1.0.0 shows live, revenue-generating Google AdMob ads. Earlier test versions used Google demonstration ad units.

When “18 or older” is selected, ads may be personalized depending on your privacy choices. When “Under 18” or “Prefer not to say” is selected, the app marks ad requests for Google’s teen treatment, which turns off personalized ads and remarketing and applies Google’s teen ad protections. For all age selections, the app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to check consent status and show applicable privacy messages. The app requests ads only when that platform reports that ads may be requested. Google’s SDKs remain included in the app, so the age setting is not a promise that no technical data is ever processed by an SDK or Android.

Google states that its Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares IP addresses (which can indicate general location), app and ad interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers, including the advertising ID where available. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. See Google’s Mobile Ads data disclosure for details.

Google processes advertising and consent information under its own policies. Read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy, including its information about identifiers, cookies and similar technologies where applicable, retention, and privacy controls. Consent options and ad treatment may vary by location and Google’s settings. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all data processing needed to deliver ads, measure them, or prevent fraud. No separate developer analytics or crash-reporting service is added to this version.

Your choices

Use Age settings to review or change your age selection. Where available, use Ad privacy choices to review or change the choices offered by Google. Android also provides advertising-ID controls in device settings. Resetting or deleting an advertising ID does not necessarily prevent use of other identifiers. Choosing not to watch an optional rewarded ad does not prevent ordinary gameplay; declining a reward is not a general opt-out from advertising data collection.

You can clear the app’s local data through Android settings or uninstall the app to remove its locally stored score and age selection. Doing so does not automatically delete information already processed by Google. The app has no account-deletion feature because it does not create player accounts. Contact us for questions or requests about information you have provided directly to us.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond, troubleshoot, and handle privacy requests. Our email provider processes these messages to deliver the service. Please send only information needed for your request.

This website

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. It has no account registration, advertising scripts, tracking pixels, or analytics added by the developer. GitHub may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to serve and protect the website; see the GitHub General Privacy Statement. Selecting an email link opens your email application; the site does not collect form submissions. External links take you to services governed by their own privacy policies.

Retention and security

Your best score and age selection remain on your device until changed or until the app’s local data is cleared or removed. Ghost movement recordings are temporary gameplay data and are not stored on a developer server. We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to handle your request, resolve related issues, and satisfy applicable legal requirements. Google and GitHub control retention of information they process under their own policies; the developer cannot promise a fixed deletion period for their systems. In particular, this policy does not promise automatic deletion of all data within 90 days.

We aim to limit the information needed for support and restrict its use to the purposes described here. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children and teenagers

This app is not designed for children under 13. In the current version, selecting “Under 18” or “Prefer not to say” limits ads to Google’s teen treatment, which is non-personalized. All ads are optional to the core game: gameplay remains available without watching a rewarded ad. We do not knowingly request personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete information we control where appropriate.

Service providers and processing locations

Google provides the advertising and consent services and the email service used for support. GitHub provides website hosting. These providers may process information in the United States and other countries, as explained in their linked privacy policies. The app does not send gameplay recordings or scores to a developer-operated cloud service. Advertising SDK data is shared as described above; this is separate from information you voluntarily send us in a support email.

Privacy requests and policy changes

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. Send requests concerning information we control to drivfiappscreative@gmail.com with the subject “Ghost Enemy privacy request” and a description of your request. Do not send passwords, identity documents, or private keys. We may ask for proportionate information to verify a request and will respond as required by applicable law. We cannot retrieve local gameplay data from your phone, and requests about information controlled by Google or GitHub may need to be directed to those providers.

We will update this policy when the app’s data practices change and revise the date shown. Changes to advertising, service providers, or other data handling will be reflected here. This policy does not represent Google Play or AdMob approval.
